The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and it was so pleasant to sit and eat outside. The resort is a little far from downtown but is an easy didi ride away. The lake was smaller than I expected, but it was still nice.
I really enjoyed my time here and felt very relaxed!!

The breakfast is OK. The location is in a cute resort village if the serene and quietness is what you like. There is a 3 miles beautiful board walk behind the resort property where you can walk, jog, or bike. The famous LuDi cave is only 15 mins walk away via the board walk.

Jerry sent a long description of directions to the hostel (from different train stations) and the tours that you could book through them when you first reserved the accommodation - which is very useful and much appreciated.
It's a small hostel but there is a lift which is great as I travelled with a senior.
There are several restaurants on the street. Jennifer recommended a chinese restaurant (小菜一碟 just across the road) popular with the locals which served delicious food at reasonable (local) prices.
If you need to buy biscuits/bread and bottled water, a minimart is just one-minute walk away.
The staff here are especially friendly and helpful.
Both Jerry and Jennifer speak good English, so for those who cannot speak much Mandarin, there will be no problem communicating with them.
Majority of the time when I was there, I communicated with Jennifer and she is friendly and helpful.

This is very close to Reed Flute cave and an excellent restaurant just next door. The receptionist was very helpful in moving me to a room with view as had appeared in the search. She also went beyond to help me organise a carpool for my onward journey. Lovely quiet location.
