Delicious breakfast. The fruit juice was the BEST we had in Costa Rica which says a lot since it’s all divine.
The location is in a tiny town really far away from the entrance to the park but we asked for a fun recommendation for a hike and went with a local guide to a treasure. We loved being up Rincon a bit away from it all. The accommodations were awesome.

Warm, attentive and kind service-- Karla made us delicious meals, and even held our baby so we could eat! They were totally accommodating to the dietary needs of our group, and we had the whole place to ourselves. It's a beautiful setting, and the decorations inside of the lodge are so cute. A peaceful and relaxing stay. Def recommend 4x4 to access everything you want to see in the surrounding area. Prepare for the 20km of dirt roads to arrive, take your time, Tico style, and you'll arrive just find. Christian is very helpful too, totally recommend the tours, you'll see beautiful things that you wouldn't otherwise- we went to the thermal waters and it was amazing, a beautiful oasis in the jungle all to ourselves- on a weekend!!! If you're trying to go to the national park it is a bit far, the attractions in that area are the waters and the large variety of waterfalls. For mountain excursions you'll need a guide.

The staff were spectacular, willing to go the extra mile to help. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom had a make up mirror and a big stall for the shower. The best part for me was the balcony with two rocking chairs and a hammock that could have been built for two.

The staff were mostly polite, patient, and attentive. The property was very tidy and well maintained. There were always staff seen maintaining the grounds and tending to other things throughout the property. The location of the lodging was as good as it gets and I’m interested in returning and staying in a better, more updated room in the future.

The grounds of the property and large and beautiful and peaceful for a wander. So many birds can be heard and seen! The gardens are full of rare and interesting plants too. One of the keepers of the place speaks excellent English and recommended a local walk up a mountainside, that was as fun and lovely as any expensive national park. Just few and local knowledge! She was also so helpful and recommended a good road for us to use when heading to our next destination. So much knowledge and such great help! We had planned one night but increased it to two, because we loved it so much we didn’t want to leave.
