The location was excellent. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The room had an old world charm about it as did the breakfast room. The breakfast was generous and tasty. The view of the river and castle was excellent. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer.

Check-in was a breeze. The woman assisting us over the intercom was extremely helpful and patient. The rooms were very clean and very quiet. I LOVED that you could open the windows and get fresh air. That was very nice. The breakfast was way beyond my expectations. A great selection of foods and very delicious and high quality. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great Location. Decor in common areas were very nice. The room was spacious. Nice bar for evening drink.Everything was very clean. Breakfest was ok start for the day.Once we found the parking it was OK just little ways from hotel.

We couldn’t have had a better experience - we didn’t want to leave. Without a doubt please book here - you’ll want to wish you could stay longer. We arrived to a charming bed and breakfast and had booked 7 of the 8 rooms. All rooms had wonderful character with three having balconies overlooking the vineyard. Wine was available for purchase - we had happy hour watching the sunset. It was a 20 min walk/3 min drive to the Christmas markets. We returned and capped the night with local wine surrounded by beautiful holiday decor in their restaurant. Breakfast was included and it felt like we were in a magazine. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you to the hosts! We hope to return!

Very kind, helpful staff. Hotel is beautiful, showing both the age/style of the hotel with some modern updates. Great central/yet quiet side street location for visiting Rüdesheim, especially the Christmas Markets. Breakfast was lovely each day.
A typical German Rheinland village. Some excellent country inns service good food, excellent wine and good beer. Although quite busy early evening, the village quietens down quickly around 9.30pm Assmanshausen is a god centre for boat trips through the Rhein Gorge with some wonderful walking country through the woodlands and vineyards,

Town is a dream.
Town is a dream. Sorrounded by a scenic nature and beautiful houses.
I would just recommend people go there by car as train to rudesheim is one per hour until 23h so you can easily end stucked! Also keep in mind that in Germany kitchens for dinner close at 20-21h the latest and there are no services in Assmanshausen that work later to that, just maybe to order alcohol.
