Beautiful gardens, good restaurants, nice shopping district for pedestrians only. Friendly people. Interesting history. Wonderfully cared for homes. The only catch: you must be sure to make reservations at the excellent spa (Hufeland Therme) at least two weeks in advance.

She helped us figure out what to do in the town and we had a fantastic time, also saving money with her advice. The hotel itself is charming and offers a lot more than just a place to sleep. It has a rich history which we enjoyed very much. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a chilled out place.

We really enjoyed its spaciousness and tall ceilings as well as the balcony (facing S/W). The kitchen is quite small but nicely equipped (although the scratched frying pan should be replaced), including a cafetière and toaster. The WIFI connection works well.
