Great hostess, it's basically a house in which a lovely lady lives in a part of the house down stairs separate from the guest quarters but always available for assistance and the first floor 3 rooms and a kitchen with a electric stove, freezer, sink, tables, basically everything you need if you choose not to eat out and cook yourself a meal or chill some cheap beer from the store nearby. Room was comfortable with a big bed, 2 sets of blankets, towels, a tv, closet, controllable heaters, 2 windows, very quiet, very clean, nice bathroom with a shower cabin. Price was great for some conditions i didn't even have in a 4 star hotel. I highly reccomend a stay here if you are in the area. The place is basically 3 train stations away from the center of berlin, meaning a 30 min train trip. The house also has a nice backyard and a place to sit at a table and throw a few cold ones and I bet if you ask nicely, the lady there might even hook you up with a barbecue. All the passed reviews are accurate, our room was perfect and clean. The entire facility needs a little love and attention, but we had a wonderful time there. The staff are great. I booked as a last minute and didn't read the reviews until we were there. We were curious as the place seems to have been a hot spot in the past.
