The accommodations were comfortable and very much fitting the Pfälzer environment. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was modern with readily available hot water and good lighting. There were places (coat hooks and a Schränk) to hang up-store clothes and coats. There was complimentary carbonated (bottled) water. The best thing was the fabulous breakfast with something for all (Brötchen, cold cuts, cereals, fruit, salmon, yoghurt) as well as various jams and other spreads. The coffee and tea was served through a machine and was quite good. The hotel is also very well situated in a town with a number of various restaurants.

When I told the receptionist that we would have difficulty carrying our heavy bags down the many steps, she and other staff members came to help with a smile! The breakfast was excellent and they added two guests on upon request.

The room was large and clean. Would have loved coffee available in the room only negative thing I can say. It was a hot weekend thankful for the air conditioning. Great restaurant Zum Weingockel amazing food will definitely go back. Beautiful town, I plan to visit again during the Christmas 🎄 Markets. Great staff and the breakfast was fresh and delicious.

My husband and I got to the hotel about 2 hours prior to check-in time.. I didnt think we would be able to check-in early, so i thought we'd have to wait outside for 2 hours. But we went and tried the front desk just in case they would be able to, they took my name and information with no problem. We were able to get our belongings set up in our room and call a taxi to pick us up so we can go to the Wine Festival. We got bad around 10 with no issues. When leaving the next morning, right before checkout, they offered us breakfast to go, even though the buffet was closed. We didnt have time, nor were we hungry so we politely declined, but it was nice to be offered. 10/10 would recommend this place, will stay again if ever in the area. :)

Located in the beautiful town of Kallstadt and associate with the wonderful Weinhaus Henninger, Zum Weissen Ross is a happy alternative if rooms in the main facility are unavailable. All members of the staff, but notably the two women who oversee guest services, were charming, helpful, and knowledgeable. My sister-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with them.
Do note that ample parking is available; however is it behind Weinhaus Henninger. There is a small car park across the street from the hotel with a few spaces and limited to two hours.
Offering a wine bar and terrace, Weinhaus Henninger mixes rustic charm with modern amenities. This stylish hotel is located in the town of Kallstadt, and provides free WiFi and daily newspapers.
