The >500 years of history for this hotel - explained with pleasure by one of the owners - was amazing to learn and you could almost feel it when seeing all the little details of this building. This is a charming hotel, very popular with locals for special events. We enjoyed our stay very much!! We were concerned about traffic noise, as our room faced the street. This is no problem, as the window is triple glass, and walls are soundproof. Also, a room darkening outer shade is available. The daily breakfast buffet is very generous, with many items available, including fruit, cereal, yoghurt and an assortment of meats, cheeses, and rolls. Fresh coffee is also included, as well as cappucino. This hotel is a gem, and very convenient to Ammersee surroundings, and to Munich by car or local train.
