That was really nice because in that region generally the staff of such kind of otels are leaving the place after 6-7PM. The breakfast was really good. It was a typical traditional German gasthof and I really liked it. The area is was silent and surraounded by forests. It is really near to Cochem and other nice places.tanergungorGermany

We received a warm welcome and the room was clean, a decent size and had a balcony overlooking the garden with a view of the hills. Despite the hotel being full, it was a peaceful night. We had dinner there as well as breakfast and the food and service were good. There was plenty of parking space and no charge for it.KEITHUnited Kingdom

The room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely comfy beds and a huge shower. Whilst Burgen is quiet, it's a perfect base for touring, with Cochem, Koblenz, the Hunsruck and the Eiffel all nearby. As a bonus the owner's English was much better than my German! Fabulous value for money!RichardUnited Kingdom

At breakfast they only had a selection of pork. The staff then specially cut some chicken for us to enjoy at breakfast. We also had stunning views of a castle! At night it was lit and even more beautiful
