We stayed here because it was located between the two castles we wanted to visit, Cochem castle and Burg Eltz. The hotel is listed as a motorcycle hotel and there was motorcycle art everywhere. Anyone who rides bikes would love it. The other patrons were very presentable, not like a biker bar. Across from the hotel on the other side of the river is a small that is lit up at night.
The owner and his son were very helpful. There is no elevator, so the son helped us with our luggage to the top floor (German 2nd floor). My daughter and I stayed with a toddler and baby. There were lots of towels and the kitchen was outfitted very well. WiFi was available and we had a flat screen TV with a wide array of Chanel’s. News in English.
The place was very clean and pleasant. We had a bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs with two beds that we did not use.
The breakfast was very good each morning. Fresh coffee or tea, rolls, croissant, fresh fruit, yogurt, condiments. Because we had a child, there was a chocolate placed on each plate. Eggs and bacon were prepared when asked for.
Providing a garden, Burgener Burgblick features accommodations in Burgen. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.

So nice. Booked one night, but wished we had booked 3! Albrect and Maria Gietzen were so helpful. Albrect met us at the station even though it was a 4 minute walk. We received free bus tickets to Burg Eltz and restaurant recommendations in the nearby towns (10 minute train ride). Room was comfortable with a great bathroom and balcony right in the winery. Fabulous Rieslings to buy right there for 12€. Breakfast was lovely.
This family-run hotel overlooks the Moselle River in the historic, wine-producing town of Alken. It has a café with river views and a summer terrace and free Wi-Fi.

Food was of good value. Quiet neighborhood. Good walking around town and by the river. Interesting buildings in town.
The traditional rooms at the Weinhaus Fries boast a scenic view of the Moselle River and Castle Thurant. The hotel serves its own wine on the sun terrace set on the banks of the river.
Breakfast on our beautiful Moselle terraces is possible depending on the weather. The service can be booked individually on site. We will find an individual solution for you in any case.

Great historical hotel right on the Mosel River. The hotel is clean and comfortable, it has a long time history. The breakfast view is breathtaking, seems like you sit right on a river bench. All around is associated with famous German Riesling wine, all around are vineyards and small towns with rich wine culture.
Cochem town is very near to the hotel, it is a great place to visit the 12th-century castle and take a tour inside. everywhere around you will find a good bottle of local wine.
I would like to give a high score for the staff. I arrived the hotel quite late around 2PM. And two ladies were waiting for us there. That was really nice because in that region generally the staff of such kind of otels are leaving the place after 6-7PM. The breakfast was really good. It was a typical traditional German gasthof and I really liked it. The area is was silent and surraounded by forests. It is really near to Cochem and other nice places.
This is a decent small hotel set in a green valley a few minutes walk from the river. We received a warm welcome and the room was clean, a decent size and had a balcony overlooking the garden with a view of the hills. Despite the hotel being full, it was a peaceful night. We had dinner there as well as breakfast and the food and service were good. There was plenty of parking space and no charge for it.
Identifying as a biker hotel, this is a little gem. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Breakfast was simply superb. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely comfy beds and a huge shower. Whilst Burgen is quiet, it's a perfect base for touring, with Cochem, Koblenz, the Hunsruck and the Eiffel all nearby. As a bonus the owner's English was much better than my German! Fabulous value for money!
Incredibly clean. I have stayed in 5 star hotels which weren’t as clean as this hotel. The staff were very friendly. At breakfast they only had a selection of pork. The staff then specially cut some chicken for us to enjoy at breakfast. We also had stunning views of a castle! At night it was lit and even more beautiful
Very good price/quality ratio. Very nice "biergarten". Restaurant at the hotel is good as the village doesn't offer a lot of other possibilities. The menu was very simple, but what we got was well prepared.
The hotel had the easiest check-in, very friendly staff, varied breakfast, easy check-out. The room was. spacious and clean. Around - very green area with hills and Moselle river.
