close to RR ( DB ) station. The property is about 300-400 yards down a main street from the station.
While plenty of taxis are available I would NOT recommend the property to elderly people with baggage. The taxis claim they can’t take you as it is in a pedestrian mall. Nonsense, they can leave you 50 yards from the hotel, the real reason is the low taxi fare they would have. Lazy, they all wait for a more lucrative fare.
This hotel offers rooms with free WiFi and is located in Regensburg's old town, a 5-minute walk from the cathedral. The Altstadthotel der Patrizier building dates back 1,000 years.

Amazing! Highly recommended! As soon as we arrived we were offered a free drink! The hotel is in the heart of Regensburg, and it's easy to access all the attractions from the hotel. The rooms are in the unique old style merged with some contemporary utilities. The reception is in the restaurant and you can have there a superb dinner! Breakfast was also served perfectly. The hotel doesn't have parking, but there is an underground public parking space just 3 minutes away from the exclusively maintained hotel.

Really nice location and Walhalla is great and Regensburg is...
Really nice location and Walhalla is great and Regensburg is definitely worth a visit. Donaustauf is small but you can basically find everything you need. There are a lot of walks and tracks nearby in beautiful nature,
The restaurant "Kupferkanne" is a good location to eat just not a lot of veggie stuff but wonderful meat dishes and you can also stay for the night in the hotel.
The staff was outstanding and very friendly. The hotel part is very clean and comfortable. The restuarant has some the best tradtional food myself and wife have had in Germany. Restaurant is worth the stop alone. The large parrot in the main lobby is welcoming greeter. Animals friendly place. Located five minutes from Walhalla Monument and 30 mins from The Hall of Liberation.
I highly recommend visiting for the food and hotel.
Well located, near 'Walhalla', and also close to Regensburg. One night stop on our way back from Croatia to Belgium. Clean rooms, with a very special '70's vibe' (including a radio built into the bed !;), but the bathroom was completely new, very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, with fresh eggs, and everything you want. Parking is in front of the hotel, good wifi, etc. Recommended !
At the arrival the reception informed me that my reseved room with Booking.com is not available. The reason invoked by receptionist was that is a mistake of Booking.com.
The receptionist was helpful and try to find an accomodation at the same standards in a nearby hotel at which they finaly obtain the same rate for us
This is a very nice hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. They even have nice, clean and comfortable baby beds. There is a nice selection of breakfast foods. Staff was very polite and helpful. And the hotel is situated near the Walhalla monument, which is interesting to visit.
First of all, it's a pets friendly hotel! Even if you have no pet, you will have a pleasure to meet sweet animals here).
For second- it's just totally friendly)
In the rooms - all you need for the rest.
Around the hotel - pure Bavaria, forest, Donau, mysterious castle.
Good location close to the highway. Large public parking at the hotel. Large room, very good beds, large bathroom, very clean, fridge, television, quiet, restaurant in the hotel
Hotel was nice with the basics. You can walk/hike to the very nearby Walhalla Monument and Donau (Danube) River through nice woods and fields. Lots of free parking by the hotel.
The hotel is very comfortable, with friendly staff and a great restaurant. A great starting point for visiting Regensburg, Walhalla, as well as other attractions of Bavaria.
The hotel is located in a wonderful location near the banks of the Danube. A huge parking lot, a fantastic dinner, a generous breakfast and a huge room awaited us.
