The breakfast was excellent. Bread, meat and jelly, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt. The small lady with the glasses who took care of the breakfast was so friendly and helpful. When I come back to Kassel, I am definitely going to stay at Schaferberg again. Thank you.

The staff are all warm and nice. The double room we booked is clean and lovely. The location is near to the Grimmwelt and the station of tram 1 which can directly go to the Wihelmschön park, it’s really convenient for tourists. The breakfast is cheap and rich, coffee is delicious.

Reasonably priced and well located, parking on site for <5 euros. Walkable to downtown including Xmas market. Staff was helpful with recommendations including amazing Hercules monument, castle and art gallery. Visit to those is well worth the stop!
