Clean hotel located walking distance from the city center. I had a room on the top floor with a rooftop window. Bed was comfortable, and bathroom was suitable for my needs. The decor may appear a bit outdated, but everything functioned like it should. Would consider it again if staying in the city.

Amazingly clean and affordable hotel. We have a larger vehicle and we really appreciated the parking options at the Hotel. It was also very easy to get to since it's so close to the major roads. The amenities in the room were also very good.

It is a charming town with beautiful places and friendly people. There was a lot of reconstructions in the centre but I hope next time to be ready. I would like to know more for the history of the town. There were too many interesting places - the tower, the gate ancient door, old houses and a lot of churches, a river - but I didn't find enouph info on the same places.GrozdeBulgaria - 10Scored 10

Was visiting family and friends. A beautiful old town with some also beautiful buildings; it was easy to wander around the older parts of the town without the hindrance of traffic. Magnificent choices of places to eat, particularly Greek, Indian and Italian restaurants within a stone's throw of the apartment. Hauptstrasse has a good selection of shopping opportunities and an excellent Mueller store.

The host was friendly and helpful, including being extremely patient with nongerman speakers. There is a lovely 10-minute pedestrian route over the river to the main square in Forchheim. While it's a bit of a walk, the Beirkeller (beer forest) close enough to comfortably walk to. Recommended.
