Had a classic feel about it. I like that. The staff were exceptional—German hospitality is quite different to the US. Staff were very attentive but always disconcertingly close—that, of they were always going something around me. That said, they were VERY attentive and helpful especially the guys that were there for dinner and then for breakfast. The breakfast was very good—a great spread!

The hotel is in a fantastic location. It is in very close proximity of Eifel National Park. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing and there is a very good restaurant approximately 100-200 meters away. Satellite TV was a bonus because America movies/shows can be watched in the original English version. I requested a frig in my room and it was provided.

Worst experience ever on Booking. On the day of making the reservation I requested a late check-in in writing and even called the front desk. On the day of arrival, I also called the front desk and was again told “no problem” and they would leave the key. Yet no key and I was forced to spend the night outside in the freezing cold car. Terrible service! And Booking.com has not been helpful at all.
