This is a beautiful spot in the countryside. If you like to hike, it would be great. Even though it was chilly and rainy we could see birds,ducks and swans. The steaks in the restaurant were great. They survived our very limited German. They asked how we found them. Not many Americans have visited.

This hotel offers a fairly tale setting and the foliage and the sunrise + rainbow during our stay are added bonuses to our experience! We found the female host very client focused and she wants you to have the best stay. Breakfast is memorable in a beautiful dining room overlooking the charming little town with all the "doll like" houses. Amazing! We also got upgraded to the Goethe room which was a sign as we visited all the Goethe museums plus the nature walks in this visit!!

I was very impressed. The hotel itself is very clean-hallways, dining area etc. I was blown away by how large the room was for the price I paid. It is always a bit difficult to find hotels that will offer double rooms for single use so that was very much appreciated as I feel I am too old to be sleeping in a single bed. The room had a large bed and all linens were very clean. There was a good sized TV in the room with ample channels and wifi worked very well. The room even had electric shutters. The bathroom was also a good size. GPS did send me in the wrong direction so be careful when you put in the address.
