The location was terrific, both in terms of the town because you could walk to many shops and restaurants. And it was also a great location in the Black Forest. We went both north and south for hiking and exploring the other towns. I’m glad we stayed in Haslach because it’s a quaint town and not super crowded.

Everything at Hotel-Restaurant Ochsen was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful (be mindful that they don't speak much English, but with the help of a translator it was no problem), the rooms and bathroom were clean, and the restaurant was excellent!

Our fourth visit to Haslach to visit friends residing in the small town. Over the years we have found Haslach to be a useful base central to the Black Forrest region. Should you need, there are quite a number of shops catering for most requirements. There are also a number of restaurants to try out over a week or so. The buildings in the centre are attractive - the town has a relaxed air and plenty of cobbled streets. There are also a number of festivals to liven things up a bit! All in all a good base for exploring the area.

Spa was included in the price, food and drink inside the hotel restaurant were good. Rooms are super spacious, its like a 1 bed apartment. Little details like, integrated radio in the bathroom, a bag already packed with towels for sauna and spa is ready in your room. Very quite, good sound isolation. Breakfast was nice...
