The restaurant is run by Italians and they also take care of the breakfast so the coffee in the morning was amazing!! Real cappuccino like in Italy, this is really rare in German Hotels.
In the evening we only had a drink at the restaurant but the staff was very friendly.
Maybe it was just good luck, but the mattress was neither too hard nor too soft.

You exceeded expectations, the price is amazing for the hotel, the amenities are excellent, the location is amazing the food is great, the town is great, the Bartender was a little gruff, might of just had a bad day but everyone else was great. The room was like a 5-star hotel for a 3-star price. The breakfast was also great although we didn't know about the assigned seating.

Room was very nice and cosy, countryside was beautiful, and staff was just amazing. Also very good breakfast. We traveled with dogs and there were no problems with that. We would really like to return to the hotel one day.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and fairly quiet. Breakfast was cozy buffet-style, with coffee at the bar included in the price. Free parking on-site was a big plus. Hohenschäftlarn train stop is right across the street, so you can get to donwtown Munich pretty easily.
It is a small hotel above an Italien restaurant. The room was nice and comfortable. Despite being right at the train station we couldn’t really hear any noise. We had pizza in the restaurant and it was tasty for good price. Overall the staff was very nice and friendly, especially at breakfast.
