Had a classic feel about it. I like that. The staff were exceptional—German hospitality is quite different to the US. Staff were very attentive but always disconcertingly close—that, of they were always going something around me. That said, they were VERY attentive and helpful especially the guys that were there for dinner and then for breakfast. The breakfast was very good—a great spread!

Great atmosphere. The hotel is located in a valley with lovely views. Great for hiking. The breakfast is really worth the money and the facilities are all above expectation. We had a great stay!

The surroundings were very quiet. The bathroom is new and modern. They allowed dogs for 10euro/night, which was cheap.

great location, staff is excellent, very good breakfast, great value for the money, and clean.

This hotel in the Eifel National Park overlooks Lake Rursee. It offers wonderful lake views, chargeable use of sauna area and free Wi-Fi. Heimbach is a 5-minute drive away.
