Along the bike trail from Regensburg to Bamberg and easily accessible . Very good bike inside storage . Reception friendly . Lift to upper floors. Our room #45 on the first floor was very nice, clean and quite large . Great little patio with small table and chairs overlooking the lush back yard and small bubbling stream . Sitting area in the room was also nice . Really good lighting in room . Obviously this is an old building but it has modern fixtures throughout. Bathroom very clean with great water pressure to the shower . On-site restaurant has limited menu but great ambiance . The food choices were good and the price point was also very reasonable. Breakfast was certainly not spectacular but more than adequate with some hot food choices.

Beautiful and historic hotel with modern conveniences. we had a spacious room with a small terrace, lovely views, huge bed and very large shower along with double sinks. We loved our lunch with business partners followed by relaxation and then another meal just the two of us with warm and friendly service throughout. Excellent food! I came down in the morning to get coffee to take to our cozy and warm room and this extra request was filled with a very large smile and warmth. We will be back!

Very nice hotel and lovely location. Nice and comfy family room. Delicious and variable breakfast, tasty dinner. The pool and sauna were a big bonus for us and for the kids! Friendly staff and nice garden with a playground.

The sophisticated atmosphere of the restaurant is accentuated by the fine wood furnishings.

Very large clean room on the hillside. Adequate dinner options and a fantastic breakfast was included. Sadly no kettle in tge room, but otherwise wonderful.

Always where we stay in Hersbruck! The breakfast buffet is excellent on the weekends but gets smaller as the week goes on. This is not a fried eggs and hash browns place. It's wurst, ham, cheeses, rolls/breads/cakes, fruit and muesli with coffee, tea, juices, etc. The restaurant is much improved, now managed by the owners' son, and deserves a visit. Always some wild game on the menu. Vegetarian too, if you like. Make a reservation! A bit pricey but worth it anyway. Breakfast included.

This hotel had a lot of charm. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the staff was super friendly. This is a great place for exploring the area and go on hikes.
