This is a wonderful place to stay. Peaceful, quiet, in a picturesque village. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds and armchairs. The restaurant beautifully furnished and decorated. The access from the nearby motorway is easy. Breakfast was very good and the lady who welcomed us was very nice. Also the man we talked on the phone on the arrival was very helpful.

Königslutter has one of the finest Romanesque churches in Germany. A must for lovers of medieval architecture. Next to it there is a spectacular 1000 year old lime tree. Also a must if you like that sort of thing.

Not only is the German architecture from a bygone era, the hotel itself is located in a picturesque village decorated in wintry, festive style in preparation for Christmastime. The hotel staff were absolutely lovely both in welcoming their foreign visitors and supporting us every step of the way. The continental buffet filled our stomachs and set us up perfectly for the day ahead. Will definitely return should we ever come this way again.

The breakfast was exceptional. Amazing choice that catered for everyone. Even a Pakcake make that was just the best. Every guest was fascinated by it. Definitely one to stay in again and again.

The facilities were very pleasant and clean, rooms very comfortable, and the bathrooms fully renovated. Staff was very accommodating and the food was quite good (both at dinner time and the breakfast buffet). It’s also fun to take in all the Australian decor throughout the hotel. We expect to return.
