Located between Wuerzburg, Bamberg, Bayreuth and Nuernberg, one was spoilt for choice as to which to visit first. The property is in a pastoral setting, so the chatter of the birds is the usual sound heard. Close to Geiselwind just off the A3, with its wealth of restaurants, it is an exceptional place to stay if one is a dedicated tourist. Several destinations nearby would appeal to families whose children need entertainment. Excellent bitcher and baker in Geiselwind for self-catering. For hikers and wanderers, the Steigerwald is on your doorstep. Free parking, and good wifi.
The village is very small, rural and quiet. Very relaxing and beautiful. There are no pubs, restaurants or supermarkets near the property we were staying in. But we found some lovely places to eat and drink at a short drive away.
