This is one of the nicest hotel/restaurants that we have stayed in on our many many weeks of bicycle traveling through Europe in the past 20+ years . Our room was absolutely great with a separate sitting area with a sofa and comfortable chairs . Great use of color throughout the room . Very comfortable bed and an amazing large and clean bathroom . Multiple windows and glass doors in room 16 to provide light . Good WiFi .
On-site Restaurant was closed on Sunday night but a short 1.8km bike ride took us to Zur Schmeide Restaurant which was really great . The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and quite beautiful. We had our own private patio to store our bikes under cover and to rest after our long ride .
More than adequate breakfast was included.

The property was beautiful with a garden and the interior decorating was gorgeous. The room was comfortable and breakfast was far more than we were expecting (in a good way)! The staff were very friendly and waiting for us with our own set table. Fancy but not pretenious. 10/10 would definitely go back!

This is a small town in a rural area, but close to lots of other old towns with lots of history. You need a car to get around, but a great place if you want to get away from the main tourist areas and see authenticity.
