The apartments (Hirsch and Dachs) have a perfect location: close to beautiful towns and good trails for hiking. The town itself is beautiful and quiet. The apartments are fully equipped: they have everything anyone needs (kitchenware, kettle, coffee machine, complete cutlery set...), radio in the bathroom... One could easily live there (no kidding).

There was a street with plenty of free parking one block up. Don’t let them charge you for parking.

The hotel is a sweet boutique hotel. Very pet friendly and free parking. It is located in a very quiet village area.
Right in front, you can find a beautiful landmark (ruin). we enjoyed walking with the dogs
The stuff is very nice and hard-working people. Kathryn was doing her best to help us during breakfast (we don't eat gluten).
The place has a lovely restaurant, and the team also arranged for us a salad (no gluten free options).

I loved visiting Loffenau and only wish we would have stayed a few more days. I definitely plan to visit again. There are lots of hiking trails and beautiful scenery. Lots of natural attractions in the town and easy to navigate.
