Nice bar, great staff, beautiful room, own restaurant, but we never used it. Not many other rest open in the evening, though, as Ludwigslust seems to be a place for day visiting. We found the restaurant Athena, where everyone else obviously goes. No wonder, amazingly good Greek food. Expect some waiting when busy. Cash only.

The breakfast room, which doubled as a library, was a beautiful wood-panelled circular room, redolent of DDR times, if you like that.
