The apartment was spacious and cozy. Rooms decorated in marine details but not overloaded. The cleanness was exceptional. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped with all necessary items including coffee, salt, pepper, soap, and towels. There is also a dishwasher machine, fridge, micro-oven, coffee maker, and el-kettle. Heike and Roland are sweet and discreet hosts. They gave us a locked shed for keeping our bicycles. To make it, they took their own bikes to another place. Worth to appreciate. The garden is very well kept with a small pond full of fish (one of them huge). There are places to sit and enjoy reading outside.
There are two restaurants in the village. One is in the old windmill and the other near the train station - a pizza restaurant. The first one offers tasty food in a special environment, highly recommended. The pizza from the other restaurant is also fine.
Location can be not perfect for some people. It is bicykle distance to a few exceptional biking paths and to Bredstedt and Husum - the most interesting towns nearby.
There is nothing for hiking around. Driving by car can be necessary to explore a bigger area.
