The staff were very friendly and didn't mind that I arrived late. The room was very nice and after a days riding, and a weeks camping it just felt amazing to be showered and alone. The breakfast was really good too.

Minheim is a very quiet town on the Mosel. I personally like it because I can live away from the hustle of the very touristy towns on the Mosel, enjoying quiet walks along the river or in the vineyards; however, if I feel like exploring these busy places, they are within easy reach.
