It's a small town away from the busy city centre of Dusseldorf. Its a town that is full of its own history and heritage. English not commonly spoken here but they will understand you. A town that is full of arts & culture such as "CLEMEN SELS MUSEUM & CHURCH"..if its something that you are looking for. Transportation coverage is quite good.
A town that has both cultural and modern amenities to look for.
Culturally; there are museums and famous old buildings that you can see. Modern...there are places that you can shop such as a mall and some shops that offer products at an affordable pricing. Bring your own bag to keep the stuff you bought as no bags are given for your purchase.
Its very quiet on SUNDAYS with 90% of the shops and malls are closed. Just few eateries that is open and probably will be closed by about 4pm on sunday. Most days..the town will come alive around 10am and sleeps by 5pm. So plan your day there well.
Do look out for the clock songs that will play in the afternoon. there are 2 buildings that has a clocks with bells that sings & rings.
I tried some pastry at this "OEBEL CAFE". i tried the bacon&egg sandwich ...and its tasty.
Just like any other city's or town that you go too; you got to be careful with your belongings.

The hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate however this didn’t spoil a thing because the local train station is only 4 minute walk and once on the train it’s only 9 minutes to Düsseldorf once here you can walk to the old town in about 25 minutes which is very nice

I would not stay there again.
I would not stay there again. The good thing about the Crowne Plaza was the price and the friendly staff. There is nothing around the hotel...one mall, but not the shops you really want. You have to travel to Dusseldorf if you want to get a decent meal.

small town with all amenities, that one might need.
main shopping road is traffic-free apart from the tram.
Has theatres, museum, cinemas, restaurants, cafes, plenty of parking and all kinds of shops, lovely cathedral, ...
Very friendly and supportive staffs all around the hotel area. As much as we were not satisfied with the hotel, we felt so bad with the staffs as they tried their best with systematical and infrastructural limitation. (It was like seeing them trying to support the guests with 'blocked by hotel policy' thing or keep fixing when the very bottom of the infrastructure is beyond repair...
and water pressure in the shower booth is so satisfying.
Bed was very clean and well made, shower was super powerful, room was quiet. I was staying for the weekend to visit friends and it was just a place to sleep really, and it did that just fine. I would stay again if visiting the same friends. I didn't see anyone from the hotel, it was deserted the whole time, never saw a reception, but then I did literally only go to sleep there so to be honest I was completely fine not seeing any staff.
I met with owner and she was extremely friendly and took time to show me how all appliances worked.
Then unit itself was very spacious and clean and filled with top quality appliances. The location was brilliant for staying inside Neuss as had a large shopping centre just down the street where you could buy whatever was needed and to walk to station stop for train is about 10-15 minutes.
The apartment itself was incredible though!!
Friendly staff and efficient management, fast checkin-/out, nicely decorated rooms, pleasant breakfast room with a view into the garden and generous seating space, no Airco in rooms which is perfect during most of the year, as usually air conditioned hotel rooms are too chilly
We loved the vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. It felt like you were in a ski resort in the mountains. Great for a quick getaway. Loved how we were able to watch our kids practice snowboarding on the small slope while sitting in the comfortable lounge area.
It was really clean which i appreciate! It was possible to login on netflix.. Warm and really quiet. The receptionist was nice and explained everything. There are a few parking spots right under the hotel. But also parking along the street is free.
I booked the wrong date and when I came to the reception they told me my dates are next month. Fortunately, they were able to help me and change the reservation for me! By the way, there is a big mall behind the hotel you can walk to, very close!
Well located and equipped flat adjacent to Neuss downtown. All needed amenities are either found within the flat or can be accessed within a 3 minute walk. Surprisingly good!
