We could walk a bit to enjoy the tranquil neighbourhood. I could hear diligent tractor travel in the early morning or perhaps narrow boats travel as the house is next to the canal. The terrace next to the kitchen provided a good sitting place for our breakfast and evening meals in the warm weather. The owner was kind enough to ensure alles ordnung.

This was a tastefully decorated apartment, clean and comfortable. We didn't cook as we were traveling onwards and stopped here for one night so we could visit a friend nearby. The apartment was spacious and the balcony was pleasant to use for morning tea. We know the surrounding area is great if you enjoy cycling and walking.

We were warmly received by our hosts and made very welcome The absolutely sumptuous breakfast provided ,included hot and cold food , could not be bettered. Overall the best I have encountered in my travels using guest houses and B&Bs over 60 + years. Soft and Alcoholic drinks were available in a cooler and provided on a self pay basis .
