Immediately off the Main Bike Trail and a small crossriver ferry . The owner/manager is a very effervescent, friendly and helpful women who made us feel at ease immediately . The guest house is definitely old but has had a lot of renovation inside and the rooms are great . Very clean and comfortable . Our room, #14 had three great windows which gave us a wonderful view of the River Main as well as great light . Bathroom was very clean , shower had good water pressure.
In front of the house is an elevated sun terrace to sit and drink or eat while watching the River go by .
Restaurant was closed the night we were there but 200m. up the hill was the Gasthaus Rose which had an excellent and reasonable dinner .
Breakfast at Zum Schiff was really good and bountiful with eggs made to your order and many other food choices .
Very good secure bike storage . All in all a very good overnight experience.
