Beautiful little village with a great park area, beautiful flowers and garden areas which are beautifully looked after, plenty of places to drink coffee but the ice parlour on the corner has a fantastic coffee machine and makes great cappuccino. Bike rental available. Cable car ride to top of mountain is recommended. Plenty of hiking routes.

Nice restaurants, but some are a little understaffed, took a while to get a drink and place your order, and longer to actually get your meal. Not a problem at lunch but dinner was difficult. There’s was even an iPad and a robot vacuum. Specially good was the breakfast! The variety was great and we could order it via app. The location is also very good, it’s not directly in center but in short walking distance to center where there are many restaurants. Also very good of the accommodation it’s that we got the Oberstaufen Card.
