Great property, great on-site restaurant. Rooms have fans but no AC, no problem unless it is really hot. Breakfast was top notch.

This hotel is located next to the Laach lake in the Laacher nature reserve. A breakfast buffet is available on request. The spacious rooms at the Seehotel Maria Laach all have satellite TV.

The location near the abbey is quite unique. The rooms are modern with a nespresso machine, a small fridge stocked with complimentary biers, water and cola, and the breakfast, in my opinion, is excellent. While they don't have a gym at the hotel, they do a peloton bike with a subscription that you can have delivered to your room for a workout. That's a great idea, especially when the weather is cold, dark and rainy.
