Parking and checking in went fast, and the room was spacious enough even with small kids. I usually get stumped by how to configure the airconditioning, but the system here was straightforward and the A/C worked flawlessly. There are 2 bakeries less than 2 minutes away from the hotel, in case you want a quick bite or breakfast. It was also good that we simply could walk to the many restaurants and wine shops offering the local wines.

We managed to leave our wash bag behind when checking and once realising the mistake I contacted the hotel who then sent it onwards for us via DHL. We had a superb dinner the night of our stay in their restaurant and it’s probably the most dog friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Our room had a lovely view and dog walking was straight out into the forest! I can highly recommend this gem of a place.

My family of 5 was separated into 3 rooms. Two rooms were joined by a main door but all had their own keys. The third room was on a different floor and that was a little uncomfortable for me. Otherwise, the rooms were nice and had everything we needed. There is a bakery RIGHT in front of the hotel for breakfast.
