Pörtnerhof Seßlach, hotel in Seßlach

Pörtnerhof Seßlach offers accommodations in Seßlach, 23 miles from Bamberg Central Station and 25 miles from Concert & Congress Hall Bamberg.

Sesslach is a truly special place being preserved in the confines of its city walls. The Peortnerhof reflects that with unique, tad quirky but contemporary (very recent) rooms. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Seßlach is a medieval town that still maintains it's old street plan as well as the old town walls and gates. It also has a nice church that dates to the 14th century and contains numerous works of art and effigies of the aristocratic family that owned the place. The town is well worth visiting if you are spending any time at the hotel, it gives you a good feel for what life was like inside the walls of a 14th-18th century town.
