Not too difficult to get to city center. Free parking. Woman at front desk was accommodating about check-in as we weren't able to be there during normal check-in hours (sent door codes via message). Beds decent.

We needed somewhere to stay to break a long car journey and...
We needed somewhere to stay to break a long car journey and we also wanted a base for a brief visit to Nuremberg. Hotel Wendelstein fitted these criteria perfectly, The staff were very friendly (spoke excellent English) and very helpful. Even though our 4 pm arrival was delayed by seven hours, due to horrendous traffic, this was no problem as keys can be accessed at any time via key safe. Finally, the beds were extremely comfortable which was especially welcome after such a long and stressful journey!

There is a free private parking in front of the hotel. You can check in even during the night because there is a contact number to the owner at the main door. The rooms are very clean and they have comfortable bed and there is a very nice bathroom. The breakfast is very tasty and the stuff is super friendly!
