Matthias and his family (unfortunately we only met his wife through her delicious almond cake and other goodies) run a totally renovated farm, spotless, calm, charming and fully equipped. The rooms had everything you need, and the heated floors are always a killer. Matthias put us in two adjacent rooms (we were a family of four, with two kids) so we could be next to each other. He also gave us plenty of tips; activities, where to eat and what to visit. We followed one thing after the other and everything turned out to be exciting and fun. Free parking on the premises. We wanted to visit earlier, but our son was sick. And even while we had a no-cancel reservation, they happily let us come two weeks later. The triple room was really nice and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless clean. The staff was really friendly and even gave me lollipops and chocolate for our son, which he loved (obviously) 😀 We would definitely come back when we visit Oldenburg.

This property is clean and new and full of unexpected small touches that make for a pleasant stay - toothbrushes, washcloths, a plentiful selection of in-room tea and coffee, and even a tea towel. The decor is tasteful and the room quite comfortable. The property is easy to find and the non-contact checkin was seamless. Breakfast at the bakery is easy and delicious. Due to error on my part (the app crashed mid-booking), I didn’t book with breakfast included, but the additional charge would be of good value.
