the sauna! breakfast was decent but boring, the same each day. most of the staff was greatly friendly and helpful, considering that I don't speak German and they have few English-speaking visitors.

This was an awesome little hotel above an Italian restaurant. The rooms were spacious, very clean, beds comfortable. Exceeded my expectations. And the food and service in the restaurant was outstanding. If you are road tripping through Germany, plan this quiet little town as an overnight stop. Or as a base for seeing the small towns on the Germany romantic road.
