The location is in a beautiful and quiet spot on the shore, away from the road and towns. The breakfast was good with a variety of foods and drinks. We needed a late check-in and they were very accomidating and super helpful with directions and places we were looking for.

Jantzen's was warm and welcoming in a picturesque village along the Baltic. Our room was comfortable, bright, and inviting. The manager was very gracious and helpful with any questions we might have had. The breakfast they served was delicious and plentiful. We'd love to go back someday if we can.

Really good breakfast including waffle maker and different type of "home made" breads and cheese. Nice selection of fruits. There was an indoor swimming pool which we enjoy during our stay. In town hotel! staff was really kind. There was also access to a "game" old-furnished room with pool, foosball table, and lots of books to read. really like the building construction of the hotel kind of old-hotel place with an outdoor "beer garden" place in the middle.

Great town, it is pretty much seen in a single day.
Great town, it is pretty much seen in a single day. I recommend the restaurant “spektakel” who makes delicious burgers (meat and vegetarian). And if you are into long walks, the path to hellifdomsklipperne is great.

Lovely seaside town on the island of Bornholm.
Lovely seaside town on the island of Bornholm. It can take a while to get there from Rønne via local bus but it’s definitely the best base with good connections to explore the rest of the island. Recommend for a relaxing holiday away from city hussles.

We took advantage of the good days to sightsee.
We took advantage of the good days to sightsee. Rode bikes to Orstelars Kirke, Christianso is beautiful on a sunny day. Hummerhus you can explore on a rainy day because they have a facility/ museum adjacent to the fortress. The museums were insightful and offered wonderful history and cultural facts about Gudhjem and the island of Bornholm. I chose not to drive on this trip and the bus system was very easy to use. But, if you chose to drive it’s an easy island to get around.

Peaceful and quiet right outside Gudhjem. Sheep, chickens and beautiful rosegarden on the property. Beautiful view of the coastline and the sea from the bedroom window in apt # 2. Apartment # 2 has two bedrooms upstairs accessed with a fairly steep staircase and a sleeper sofa downstairs. The bathroom is also downstairs so if you are elderly or slightly disabled the stairs could be a challenge.

The apartment was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and had a beautiful view of the fields and ocean. The kids loved the playground and space to run around and explore on the property. The location was ideal, just a few minutes from town and beaches, but away from a lot of tourist traffic and peaceful and quiet. The hosts Lene and David were kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. In all of our travels over the years, this was one of our favorites.

Liked the atmosphere of the hotel, the way it is equiped, loved the breakfast in the garden, the garden it self and the staff who are all very nice, especially the owner/manager. A beautiful place in a beautiful town. The hotel has its' soul and it is a very pleasant one. And as we had to leave early the last day, we were given freshly made sandwich to our hands at 7 a.m.
