The location will improve immensely when that brick building across the street gets renovated and one isn’t looking at a chain link fence.
Otherwise the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay but not as good as reviews indicated.

We travelled by car from Belgium to Sweden.
Middelfart makes for a great stop to cut the trip in half.
We arrived late afternoon, had a warm welcome. The location is a bit special, being housed in a construction expo building but that doesn't matter. Comfortable well equipped rooms, great breakfast and easy check-out to continue the journey. We noticed this place is also used by a lot of persons travelling by bike and can accomodate large groups and seminars as well. A great plus!
The site is gated so very safe to park with a car full of belongings, heading to your holiday destination.
Middelfart has a lot to offer as well, so we will take more time in the area a next time, as we would definitely return here and recommend it to others. At the reception, all information about the area and venues closeby can be found.

Excellent location. Very friendly staff. We celebrated our wedding in Kolding and this hotel has wonderful views and scenery for wedding pictures. They had a huge and tasty breakfast buffet.

The kitchen and the waiters was not good, we couldn't get a bearnaise to a very expensive tournodos, so we ordered a wienerschnitzel instead. Looked nice, but it had no taste. Cappucino was not to be ordered, only instant, so we refused and left.
The only thing good was the bed - it was very nice - and very nice staff at the front disk.
Even we told the reception, we had no hand soap, and they "fixed" it - it didn't work. No soap at the tub either.
We had to go a long way though the hotel to the room, even I had told them I have bad knees - and a lot of stairs, even promised only one. We will never come back, it's not a 4-star hotel. Very old and and worn,
