We were very happy with this hotel. Our room was cool. It had a comfortable couch, Netflix (You need to sign in with your own account), good A/C, a pretty good bed, and a fun bathroom up a small flight of stairs. We also had the room that opened directly onto the outdoor area, which was handy if one of us wanted to go out (but didn't really work if we both wanted to leave, since we couldn't lock it from the outside - not too big of a deal, though). The staff was very friendly, helpful, and easy-going. There was a cute cat hanging around who eventually got us to feed him (so cute)! We went to Boca Chica to go scuba diving, and this place is so close to the dive shop - that was very convenient. This hotel is right on the beach, so you can just leave and immediately walk down it, checking out all the restaurants and such. Breakfast (included) was good every day, as were the other meals we had there.

I've been staying there for over a dozen years. They've really improved it.Nice baths.Nice flooring.Powerful aircon.Strong wifi signal. Comfortable beds . For what it is(budget hotel) they do a good job.Everything works.Pleasant staff. 2 -minute walk down a small incline to the beach area. In this price range it's a good deal. Excellent security.
