The city is 3,000 people only which little to see.
The city is 3,000 people only which little to see. If you are a nature lover...you are in for a real treat. Purple tarantulas the size of a soft run accross the streets, dead tropical snakes on the roads and sites of black pathers on the mountainside prove just how remote this town is. After Huigra is a tough drive through high altitude dense rainforests. The cloud coverage was "dense" during our departure out of the city, we estimate visibility 7 - 10 feet! We passed one car in an hour half during this slow curvy drive and didn't go through a town for about the same length of time. My only regret is I wish we would have let the clouds subside...the glimpses of thick jungle and touring mountains were a sight out of King Kong!MitchellUnited States of America
