The garden and the pool are both beautiful and the view from our bedroom window (Deluxe room, 2 single beds). The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There is one member of staff who speaks English and he went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome.

Tache Boutique Hotel Fayoum, hotel in ‘Izbat an Nāmūs

Tache Boutique Hotel Fayoum features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Fayoum. Featuring room service, this property also has a restaurant and a grill.

It was very special and I appeared to be alone in the hotel. in the evening, food was made for me and that was fine. Communication on arrival was via a phone because no one tight English. Afternoon, the garden is open and there were some ladies chilling out. Obviously all non-alcohol. in the evening there is nothing more to do. When I left early in the morning, I did not see anyone else. Very strange. Felt special though. Large room, very simple shower, nice balcony with a view but still felt like you were in some strange movie. In terms of price/performance fine.

The hotel is exceptional, staff is so helpful, rooms are so spacious and very well designed. It’s so relaxing and worth the travel from Cairo. The only thing that needs enhancements is the Egyptian part of the food menu that needs more variety, also the restaurant prices are extremely high and must be reviewed.

A nice village on the southwestern part of the Qarum Lake.

A nice village on the southwestern part of the Qarum Lake. There is a nice little artisan area here called Tunis Village with hotels and activity. It is well-reputed for clay pottery and there is a caricature museum. You can easily walk to all the pottery workshops. There is also an Egyptian political caricature museum here. Kom el Dikka Agri Lodge and the Ibis Cooking School/Mahmoud Youssef Pottery workshop. We also recommend visiting Mansour Pottery.
