Adriatica is a very good choice for an overnight stop in between Cairo and Siwa Oasis, especially if you have children. They have double rooms with communicating doors available. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was good although the only "coffee" is Nescafe. Staff is very helpful and friendly and even gave our girls some small presents on the way out. Has to be one of your best options in Mersa Matruh.

ALL OF THE DRAINS IN THE ROOMS WERE CLOGGED UP AND WHEN WE ASKED, THEY TOLD US TO CLEAN IT OURSELVES, VERY DIRTY, FILTHY, FULL OF ROACHES AND ANTS, EVERYTHING IS SO CORRODED, CEILING IN BATHROOM HAD HOLES FROM REMOVED COVERS, EVERYTHING IS BAD IN THIS PLACE, IT'S REALLY A SHIT HOLE, GARBAGE, I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO CONVINCE YOU, BUT PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SICK FROM THEIR FILTH. MOHAMMED MOOSA WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL..ALSO THE LOCKS IN THE MAIN ENTRY IS VERY EASY TO BE PRIED OPEN AND THERE IS NO LOCKS ON THE PATIO DOORS. VERY VERY VERY BAD PLACE TO STAY IN. It was spacious, super clean and equipped with everything I needed. Room had a balcony with the magnificent view on the turquoise blue sea. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Every morning I had a delicious and hefty breakfast. Hotel is situated in the middle of town, walking distance to the beach, great restaurants and markets. This is definitely my place to stay the next time I come to Matruh.
