Fabulous hotel. Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.

This is a surprisingly big hotel, that has basically everything you could need. Staff was friendly and warm. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was possibly the best I have slept in for quite some time.
This hotel and award-winning restaurant is just 1.9 mi off the Madrid-Valencia motorway. The restaurant serves characteristic food from the Castile-La Mancha region.

Good place to stop for a night during our long trip. The place was clean enough and they even had a bidet (if you're Italian, you will appreciate this). The staff was very nice, they let us keep our dog in the room and even the morning after, bring him with us during breakfast, even though they did make us sit in another room, so we didn't bother other guests.
The great thing was they let us park our car in the garage over night, so we didn't have any worries about letting it outside with all the luggage. Room small, but it had everything you needed.
I definitely recommend it if you want a good place to sleep during your trip.

Alarcon was a wonderful place to stay. We are early rises so walking around the river and ruins with the bird song in the trees and water flowing was relaxing and peaceful. Dinner in the square opposite the castle was fantastic (try the sherry pork👍👍). Would have loved to stay longer.

Stunning location.
Stunning location. Pity it was not possible to see inside the lovely buildings except through a paid guide. The Oficina de Turismo was not open so it may have been useful to have an electronic one with main info.
A lovely house in a very quiet location, with the car left in the car park 100m away. Jose met us and showed us everything we needed to know. Alarcon was a great stopover on our way to Murcia but it was VERY quiet (which was good and bad) and there was only 2 places to eat in the evening. Nowhere to have breakfast so we were very pleased that we had a self service breakfast (tea/coffee and toast) in the house before heading off. A great place that I'm sure is very busy in the summer.
Arriving at the Alarcon village was like something out of a story book with the castle being the main character. It was such a treat to stay in a building so beautifully preserved. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were cosy and warm and the food at the restaurant was excellent. If your budget allows it, book your stay in the tower for the whole experience. Alarcón is a pretty village with a selection of restaurants and bars.
The hotel is small, interesting and set in a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately we experienced minor issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of our room.
Breakfast was excellent, with the exception of bland coffee. Dinner was fine and offered well prepared traditional dishes of the region. The English translation of the menu did not adequately list the ingredients of each dish.
A great period property in the village of Alarcón. Plenty to see in the village that has an interesting historical past and plenty of monuments. Amazing scenery and a must for walkers.
Javier was and exceptional host - providing snacks, coffee etc and breakfast plus lots of information to make the most of our time.
100% recommended.
The room was beautiful! It felt very regal with the big wooden canopy bed. We also really enjoyed that we could use the kitchen and have breakfast calmly every morning. The owner was very helpful and very friendly. We stayed at 7 hotels during our stay and this was our favorite. The town was very nice, quiet and full of history.
It is an amazing small hotel in a castle! The room was lovely. The view from the top of the castle is breathtaking. The food at the restaurant onsite was terrific. Alarcon is tiny, but there is much to see and experience. The people of Alarcon are welcoming and kind.
Nice location in a very quaint hilltop village. The Hotel is quite quirky in a nice way with some unusual decor and furnishings. The room was nice, bed was comfy and the bathroom was pretty good. No complaints.
The host and his wife keep an immaculate clean comfortable hotel. They are charming. The quality of bedding is superb and the breakfast is second to none.
