The town itself is pleasant.
The town itself is pleasant. Just be sure to avoid staying at La Casona Albaida. A deeply unpleasant experience run by a man who is just very rude and unpleasant. The Casa is old, tired, not especially clean and has simply a 'bad feeling'. AVOID!

It's a little village with narrow streets.
It's a little village with narrow streets. Many outside cafe tables. Loads of places to eat. Two large supermarkets. There is a square with am historic building, but we couldn't look inside because a drum festival was going on in front of it at the time. It has a lovely clock tower with bells.
