A truly great place to stay -- the extensive garden is an absolute pleasure to spend time in. Extremely comfortable room (suite recommended). This was our second visit and we'll certainly be back. Possibly the best breakfast in northern Spain and dinner was excellent too.

It is a small family run hotel, set in its own delightful grounds, about a mile south of Cabezon along a very quiet lane, ideal for a stroll. Our room had its own spacious terrace. The buffet breakfast is as comprehensive as in a big top class hotel without the pushing and dodging of other guests. The hot options are cooked to order. The proprietor offers a “light” dinner but one can make it as substantial as one wishes and it is of excellent quality, good value and in very agreeable surroundings.JohnUnited Kingdom

We went with 2 motorbikes on a trailer and we had the opportunity to park trailer and bikes in the big underground garage. The hotel team were helping straight away. I really recommend this hotel, i travelled already al lot arround the world and have a lot of experiences this one is 9/10 on a overall scale. They even have gluten-free bread so you don't need to bring your own. Very generous buffet breakfast worth the price of the room. The beds are good. Very very clean place. It was a short drive to Cabezon de la Sal, but more peaceful, and very near the river. The bed was large and very comfortable. The ceiling is low in some areas but we were careful. The building is old and beautiful. We did not have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant on site but it looked appealing.
