Finca La Meica is a peaceful haven in the beautiful hills above Malaga. Hilda and Chris were the perfect hosts. As a cyclist expending lots of calories during my stay I was particularly grateful for the very generous breakfasts to suit every taste, lunches and evening meals provided to order, and a well equiped honesty bar stocked with a range of wines, beers and snacks. The pool and communal patio areas are perfect for relaxing on warm evenings. Highly recommended!

Not the fault of the hotel, but I searched on booking.com for hotels in El Colmenar and this hotel appeared in the search results. Not knowing that this hotel was not in El Colmenar, I booked it. Arrived on foot in El Colmenar 6 pm on day of reservation - realised my reservation was in Colmenar, so nowhere to stay. Too late for a refund. Booking.com at fault here (but I should have double checked)
