It's an ideal place if you travel with your family and have a car. Very nice access to main atractions on Gran Canaria from this city. You can drive to Airport, Las Palmas, Maspalomas, Terror, Puerto Rico, Puerto de Mogan, Roque Nublo etc. very easily by car during day and come back to this very quite city in the evening. There is a beach-like facility close to this apartment, but actually no sand. It's mailny a big concrete pool with natural sea water, even thogh it's enough to play in water for small children, We visited 2 local restraurants and ate local foods. It's was delicious.

Cozy, small town, old fishing village, located conveniently in between Maspalomas and Gran Canaria airport. Its proximity to highway offers also easy access to the south and centre of the island and many touristic attractions therein (plus shopping centres). Nice bars and restaurants serve local seafood and allow one to relax both during day and in the evening. Seaside with good access to the water - natural swimming pools made it easy to bath in the sea without the need to negotiate the stone-filled beaches. Good playground for kids, sport facility for adolescents. Football stadium for fans. Good place for fishing as well. All that you need to relax outside of big city. Can be recommended both as a place to stay and as a base for the trips.
