Excellent location. Views from room. The Junior suite is a lovely spacious room with views on two sides. The huge bed was the most comfortable ever.
Located in Mahón’s natural harbour, this 18th-century noble home has plenty of character and a beautiful terrace and pool. Play tennis in the sunshine and head to the games room in the evening.

small working town with lots of historical connections and several wonderful coastal coves. Calas fonts is the largest and populated by a wide variety of bars, restaurants shops etc. as well as water taxis, fishing and pleasure boats. very popular in the evenings. between fonts and cala corb is the amin square with childrens play area and several bars, Cala corb itself has a late night bar which is the haunt of local musicians and opens from 10pm. and another bar restaurant which we ate at twice, lovelt food and a great selection of ice creams. Moa itself is a short bus ride or a lovely coastal walk away with all its harbour attractions, a large modern/local mix shopping area and the bus station for access to the rest of this beautiful island.

Easy going atmosphere, retained the Spanish feel even with tourists. No restaurants trying to pull you in. Very very good food along the harbour. More local restaurant S’Arraval needs booking in advance, as it’s away from the harbour it’s much more for locals, so sad we couldn’t get in.
Restaurants we really liked: Can Delio, Llenegal, Es Laut.
Bar Chespir.
No beaches in Es Castell, we had a car so traveled around the island so no problem.

Such an amazing small town with a port.
Such an amazing small town with a port. Easy to walk , restaurants all around. My favourite restaurant was Puerto Dip with fresh made food and reasonable prices. The guacamole is to die for. Rent the scooter and go around the island.

The Military Museum and the visit on a boat out to the Quarantine island were well worth doing. Excellent guide in English. Sorry can't remember the name of the island which began with an L.
We had half board in our hotel so didn't eat out much in the evening. Very easy to walk about. Good small shops and restaurants too.

Es Castell is a really nice place, and close to the hotel was a really nice and lively area with a lot of boats docked and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. It's a bit further away from beaches tho. You either have a car to go there or you can try getting taxi or bus. Bus times are nice during weekdays, weekends there are not that much.

Nice breakfast. Husband and wife proprietors.
Nice breakfast. Husband and wife proprietors. Efficient and pleasant. We arrived late evening and he was still up and waiting for us. Room far from luxury but adequate for our one night stay before moving on to Ciatadelli Air B&B. Close to airport.
Good breakfasts, good shower, good views. The Agamenon is a perfectly adequate, if old-fashioned, hotel with a couple of good employees (Úrsula in reception, and the barman) and some others who frankly should consider a change of career. It also seems to have remarkably poor overall management, and unsatisfactory IT, as evidenced by the fact that a post-stay request for comments was sent twice to the same email address at the same time as a repeated pre-stay welcome message. Very amateurish.
The place is self-managed, in the sense that you are given a code to get into the hotel and into your room, we only saw someone at reception once during our whole stay, but we didn't have any issues so we didn't really need to speak with anyone. We booked a double room, it was enormous, very high ceiling, super clean and also very quiet. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Es Castell, it's in a really good location and has everything you need.
Nice hotel, it was located in a neighborhood so a little difficult for the taxi driver to find. I arrived around 8pm and the owner wasnt there so I had to call them to find where my room was. Once settled the room was nice and big and the shared bathroom also nice and spacious. There was a friendly cat in the garden which was a bonus! Friendly kitchen staff in the morning too.
What a genuine friendly welcome. Reception staff very helpful along with the bar/ restaurant staff. The cleaners also very friendly and polite.
I booked the hotel because it has history and obviously the staff reviews were excellent.
Ideal for adults wouldn’t say it was child friendly which suited me for the quietness around the pool area
Small, newly-renovated hotel in a quiet location. The room was nice and comfortable with a big TV which I loved. It is located between Mahon and Es Castell, a ten-minute walk from both places which is actually good as you can choose between when dining etc. I stayed longer than I planned and had a nice relaxing break.
This hotel, with an excellent location at the heart of Es Castell, is a hidden gem: a recently renovated town house with excellent taste and top quality amenities. Our Deluxe Suite was simply amazing, and the staff is fully devoted in ensuring you have a great experience - looking forward to coming back!
The hotel had an interesting array of service, including the swimming pool, billiard table and outside seating area at the front of the hotel for the bar. It also had a tennis court (never saw anyone using it) and very pleasant views across the harbour.
It is a very nice historic property.
Clean nice room.
I did not notice that this is hotel without reception, everything was online. So it took me a bit of time to get to my room at first. If I had no connection to internet I would not be able to accomodate there. But with internet everything worked great.
I really enjoyed the hospitality of Paloma. The room was very nice and clean.
Great terrace and swimming pool. Located in a quiet area, within walking distance of Es Castell.
I also walked to the bus station, a bit further away though.
The hotel was very nice. The location was great and views were spectacular. Breakfast was diverse with great options. The staff was super nice and they helped us with our bikes as we were travelling with them. Overall was a great stay :)
