It's good value for money, relative to the sky high prices in the center of Barcelona. It's a bit of a way out of the center, but that's no problem. Barcelona has an excellent unified public transport system. A travel card can be bought which allows the use of the underground metro, tram and bus services. The hotel is thus just half an hour or from the city center by public transport.
Another plus of the location is it's position halfway between the city center and the airport. Easy and fast access over a short and uncongested distance.
The hotel itself is new and modern, and very clean. A continental buffet breakfast can be bought for 6 Euros - great value, with a nice variety of items to choose from.

Unfortunately, the photos were deceiving as the hotel was more of a hostel. The room was okay in size but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The linen was old and tatty, there were no amenities such as a simple hairdryer (I visited mid-December and had to air-dry my hair), the towels were of such low quality they did not dry, and finally, the walls of the room were so thin, while I was in bed I could head the staff in the corridor discussing having to wait longer to clean until I left- I rightfully stayed there until check-out time at 12. When you leave the hotel, you have to leave the keys at reception; honestly, id rather skip the interaction. And finally, the lift was not working, thankfully I was only on the first floor...
