The hotel description fit all my criteria. It was easy to find, had on-site parking, a restaurant and was a very short walk to the centre of this small popular tourist town.
The entrance hall, outside front terrace and lounge areas are old-fashioned stylish, as was my large bedroom which overlooked the rear wooded area.
The restaurant looked elegant and, according to the very helpful lady on reception (the only member of staff I saw at any time during my overnight stay) would be open for a set-price 3-course dinner at “about 8.30”. The menu wasn’t available when I checked in and there was nobody around in or near the dining room at 8.30 so I’ve no idea whether it did open and, if it did, what was on offer. I walked up to la Plaza Mayor and had a lovely meal in one of the restaurants there.
Nice comfortable hotel despite the dinner situation.
Surrounded by nature and located 15 minutes' drive from Natural Park of Las Batuecas-Sierra de France, Hostal San Blas offers a terrace and views of the mountain.

Hostel is directly at the side of the main road, with parking in front of the hostal. There is no restaurant but a busy bar/cafe. It is but a short walk into the town where you'll find plenty of restaurants. In the morning you can get coffee and a pastry in the bar/cafe. A word of warning - don't let your SatNav take you through the town, like ours did - just continue on the main road. Good value.
This hotel is a carefully converted period stone and slate building dating back to the beginning of last century. It features an outdoor swimming pool.

EVERYTHING!
The family that runs the place can’t do it better. They will make you feel like home providing everything you needed. The restaurant is just sublime, perfectly cooked and service.
The cheesecake is a MUST.

A strange oldie type Spanish village, were all the premises had been newly rebuilt, almost like a purpose built town for tourists?? Good shops and places to eat. Only enough for a one or two night stay. Quiet area.
We had a great stay in the apartment, it's very comfortable convenient and clean and it is so lovely decorated. We didn't miss anything; everything we needed was there. We were nicely welcomed, and communication with Antonio was easy. Location is perfect for both visiting the town of La Alberca and the surrounding area, with lots of things to do and see. Highly reccomended place!
The location was the best part. The city is very small and from the hotel it was easy to get everywhere in 5-10 min. The room was very so clean and cosy that it was good to take a rest after day activity. It might be small for someone but my partner and me didn't have any complain about it. Also, we brought our dog and the staff were very friendly with my dog and us.
Very attractive but pricey stopover in this secluded village. (I understand it is much busier in season). Basic accommodation in a surprising colour scheme. The underground parking was a bonus, but not for a car much larger than mine. There was a coach party staying so I avoided dining in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but extra.
Ideal location for walking into La Alberca. A good sized double bed, quiet at night just how we like it. A very handy lift that gives access directly from the carpark to your room floor level. Perfect for our one night in La Alberca.
I have stayed in this hotel before, so I know what to expect. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is in a perfect position for visiting La Alberca, a charming old town. It has a pleasant veranda for sitting out.
The host is very friendly and helpfull. The apartment was very nice, very well located in La Alberca, had a confortable living room and a kitchen where it's possible to cook.
Good parking facilities, room opening onto a private terrace, nice ham and cheese platter served in bar area, the proximity of the beautiful old village of La Alberca.
