We liked the place a lot. Location close to A7 and beach, but quiet. The dining table outside. Pool - clean and not crowded at all in March, the common yard, electrical fireplace, armchair etc. New shower. Very well equipped kitchen - everything that was listed in the description was there and a lot more of little things. A parking place was available all the time. Good WiFi. Really nice and helpful hosts.

The penthouse is very clean, nicely decorated and feels very spacious with its 8 beds and 3 floors. Fully equipped with everything you need. The sunroof (with outside shower!) is amazing. We had some great nights at the bar there. It has a good location with nice views and hiking and cycling possibilities around the mountains and its very close to the beach and center of La Cala de Mijas. Just one road, less than 5 minute drive! Its close to many other great places to visit like Marbella and Malaga. We also played Golf at walking distance! Will definitely come back here!

This property was the best we have ever stayed in. Everything was absolutely amazing! Our host was extremely hospitable and welcoming and communicated very well throughout our stay- nothing was a problem.Location was superb. Beds were very comfortable , ample towels, tastefully decorated inside and outside. Everything was excellent! We will definitely return again! Thank you for a wonderful short break.

A lovely coastal working town with a large choice of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and bars. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday and small stalls in the town during high season. We enjoy long walks along the boardwalk which has numerous places to stop for refreshments and admire beautiful beaches and sea views. Easy access to bus routes to Marbella or Fuengirola. Mijas is so beautiful.
Mijas is so beautiful. The beach is lovely the restaurants are lovely and the outside bars are lovely too. We ate at El Olivo and that was a fantastic restaurant. We also ate at Johnny’s and the food and service was so good. There is also a little cafe near the hotel called Sensi Pino Cafe and the tapas were only 2.50 euros for a small plate and the wine was 3 euros. This was a fabulous find but shuts at 4pm. Fantastic value and excellent service. We will definitely be returning

We visited La Cala de Mijas in March so it was fairly quiet...
We visited La Cala de Mijas in March so it was fairly quiet and the bars and restaurants closed quite early. It’s a pretty resort with quaint streets and not built up like neighbouring Fuengirola. The sea front is picturesque with an excellent beach. There are some lovely restaurants, we particularly liked Figaro and Bsweet, an excellent bakery, good for breakfast. The resort is well situated and not far from Marbella and Benalmádena, both accessible by bus or taxi.PamUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Nice beach, good restaurants and children playgrounds available. Good starting point to 1 day trips like Granada, Ronda or Tarifa. Many shops. its a wonderful part of the costa del sol the village of la cala has everything you could need a great choice of bars, restaurants, supermarkets ect, beach excellent you can work for miles along the walkway. Biddys for english breakfasts and food and drink great, also new china restaurant excellent food and great value for money, indian retaurant very good too.

I have always loved La Cala for its location, 30 mins from the airport and a quiet spanish village that is close to the busy bustling areas of Benalmadena or Puerto Banus should you wish to travel to them. Fantastic beaches and the boardwalk that runs down to cabopino is a lovely walk with bard and restaurants along the way.MarkUnited Kingdom

The hotel is cleaned every day to an impeccable standard. Pablo, Sylvia and all the spa staff are fantastic. So welcoming. The spa is such a lovely bonus. The hotel rates for the golf are excellent. The food is phenomenal, especially at the tapas bar. The pool is really nice. The golf course is challenging but good.
